Ink Fluid Merge

In video editing, luminance keying is setting the brightness level, and all brighter or darker pixels from the set level are turned off and will be transparent. A second clip or image can be inserted behind to show where the pixels have been turned off. Luminance keying is used when working with grayscale images.

This is such a clever effect that can look really amazing.

In this I used some stock footage, free audio and an ink fluid merge and applied the ‘Luma Key’ in Premiere Pro onto the applicable video layers to create this effect.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to incorporate a similar effect in your next video promo project.
